Handmade in Glasgow since 2014

We’re Cristian and Sorina, the husband and wife team behind Clyde Candles. We make soy candles, reed diffusers, wax melts and soaps in small batches in our workshop on Glasgow’s southside.

We started Clyde Candles in 2014 and have been building it together ever since. Most days you’ll find us in the workshop, pouring candles, making soaps or packing orders ready to send out. 

What goes into our products

We hand pour our candles using natural soy wax and cotton and linen wicks, with no added colour dyes. The wax, fragrance oils and essential oils we use are vegan and cruelty-free.

Fragrance is at the heart of what we do. Our range includes fresh citrus, soft florals and warm, woody scents, with favourites such as Sweet Ginger & Lime and Oakmoss & Cedarwood alongside seasonal fragrances.

We also make reed diffusers and refills, botanical wax melts and handmade soaps. If you’re choosing a gift or fancy trying something different, tell us the kinds of scents you enjoy we’re always happy to help.

A little shop in our workshop

In December 2024, we opened a little shop at the entrance to our Glasgow workshop a place to browse our candles, diffusers and soaps, right where we make them.
